Our Music Ministries . . .

Music is a vital part of the Emmanuel family providing blended
musical styles each week during worship. A 50-voice
Sanctuary Choir sings each week Sept.-May utilizing a varied
repertoire of inspirational music. An 85-voice outreach choir,
Voices of Praise, presents Christmas and Spring cantatas each
December and April, respectively, providing Thursday, Friday
and Sunday evening performances on specified weekends.
Four praise teams rotate weekly to provide worship music
during Sunday morning services.

Worship is enhanced weekly by service music and
accompaniment by the sanctuary instruments, the 1969 Wicks
2/19 pipe organ, 6' Yamaha grand piano and Yamaha
Clavinova.

For more information on the music ministries of Emmanuel,
please contact ministry coordinator Rich Criss, director of
music. Choir rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings from 6:
30- 8:30 p.m. and praise teams rehearse on Monday evenings
at 7:00 p.m.

Energetic at Heart (YEAH) group which meets monthly for fun
activities, as well as four day trips each year.
Women's Ministries includes the Priscilla Circle,
Ruth Circle, Ladies Missionary Circle and an active
ladies ministry team which plans a variety of fun
events for ladies of all ages periodically.
Men's Ministries -  provides fellowship and spiritual growth for
the men of Emmanuel. Led by a Men's Ministry Leadership Team,

We worship every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m.  Our worship is
intentionally blended in style which means that every week we
seek to experience the power of the Holy Spirit by
incorporating the best of both traditional and contemporary
worship styles.  This means we sing hymns accompanied by
pipe organ and piano, have a robed choir that offers a variety of
anthem styles and are led in singing by one of our four praise
bands.  Proclaiming the Word of God is at the heart of our
experience in Worship.  All that we say, sing and pray is
intended to make our hearts fertile soil for the seeds of God’s
transforming grace and truth.

While we love children in Worship, our staffed nursery provides
a safe haven for our youngest infants and toddlers.  Each week
loving care is given by three trusted caregivers in a fun
atmosphere that offers a chance for parents to worship in the
sanctuary while having the assurance that their children are being
well cared for.
In our effort to be a church where “everyone belongs,” we are
happy to provide a church campus that is accessible to all with
special needs..  Our elevator
located in the new foyer just
inside the drop-off canopy
allows easy travel into the
sanctuary or downstairs into the
Fellowship Hall.   Located adjacent
to the sanctuary wing is The Christ
Center which offers full accessibility
to all into the Multi-Purpose Room
(gym), Fireside Room, Kitchen and Youth Center.
Restrooms are conveniently located throughout our
buildings. Please feel free to ask someone for help in
locating these facilities.
